As a courtesy to models, I’m happy to meet with models prior to a shoot at a convenient location like a Starbucks if they’d like me to walk them through the shoot requirements and answer any questions about the process or my experience. It’s not mandatory, but recommended especially if you’ve never done any augmented or virtual reality (AR/VR) work before. A photogrammetry shoot is different than a typical portrait or fashion session (rotating display table, multi-synchronized cameras) so it’s good to know specifics before you arrive so we spend more time creating and less time explaining. Plus all the models I’ve worked with have been very interested in the process and I’m more than happy to spend time before and after the shoot sharing this knowledge.
I typically conduct the pre-meetings at a Starbucks across the tollway from my home studio. This ensures that you are familiar with the shoot location prior to the day we shoot. If you live more than 30 minutes from this location, I’m happy to meet you at a convenient half-way point of your choosing.
If we don’t have a pre-meeting in person I will schedule a call with you 4 to 5 days prior to the shoot to walk you through the shoot process and answer any questions you may have.
